Cavaliers' Iman Shumpert Wrote And Recorded A Playoffs Rap Song

Iman Shumpert is back with another anthem.

Iman Shumpert is back with another rap song. If you remember, Shumpert, who this season was traded with J.R. Smith to the Cavaliers, previously recorded a song while playing for the New York Knicks (R.I.P., Knickstape).

But this time around, playing with a team that actually made it into the post season, Shumpert returned to the studio for his latest track called, "The Offs." And while his "Knicks Anthem" verses were recorded over Kanye West's single "Clique," his newest song is a bit more original.

Is it awful? Good? We're not sure. But it does get stuck in your head.

Labeled as the Cavs 2015 playoff "anthem," Shumpert manages to namecheck every one of his teammates, as well as coach, David Blatt.

"Coach got that look in his eye 'cause its playoffs and Kevin Love is open," Shumpert says.

And we know Shumpert isn't the biggest fan of Fox's "Empire," but after this, can we suggest a much needed cameo? Cookie, could Shump be your latest artist?
